THOSE SWEET MOMENTS IN LIFE!

There are some things in this life that try as you might, are just too hard to put into words. Watching my dil giving birth to my 11th grandchild last night, was definitely one of those moments for me. Everything about birth is just a miracle, but to witness it is both a privilege and honor, and my heart is full of gratitude and thanksgiving today.  Despite a rough moment here and there all went well, and Vincent James made his appearance into this world at 11:37 pm.  He weighed in at 8 pounds 1 ounce, and was 20 inches long.  Both mama and baby are doing wonderfully, and I thank you for your prayers.  We didn't get home and into bed until almost 3 am so I am definitely feeling a little tired today. But what a good tired.  I will be anxious to get my hands on him again, as sitting and rocking a sweet new baby is one of the best things this life has to offer.  How grateful I am that this baby is close enough for me to do just that on a pretty frequent basis.  My little phone camera does not work well, but I tried. Most of these pics I stole borrowed from others.  I am sure there will be plenty more coming in the future.  And now, God willing and if all goes well, we should have our WHOLE family together a week from tomorrow for the WHOLE day.  We have not done so in over a year and half!  I am giddy!   Hope you all enjoy your week-end, and cherish and savor those sweet moments in life! I know I am!  Blessings to you all!  Debbie

  13. PRECIOUS!!!!!
I'm just getting to this. When I came here, you were already off in quiltland so I knew I had missed the announcement.

Children are a blessing from the LORD. Blessed is the GRANDMA whose quiver is full of them.

I don't think God mind's the edit in this case. I think He might just chuckle.

In a Godly kind of way...
