I am a 55 year old woman who loves the Lord above all else, my husband Jeff of 35 years, my 4 children, and 8 wonderous little grandchildren. I spent the majority of my married life as a stay at home mom. I worked part time for a while at the Christian schools where my children attended as an aide that rotated between Kindergarten and the second grade, taking reading groups mainly, but also just helping out where they could use me, and then also on the play ground during recess and as a lunch aide. I loved doing this as I so enjoy kids and the sweet things they say. I did this for a little over 10 years. I also enjoy sewing, reading, cooking and spending time with those I love. I have been an empty nester for the last two years and it has been a definite adjustment for me. I took up blogging as I have always loved to write and enjoy journaling as well. I want to share the happenings in my life that make us all THE WAY WE ARE, thus the name of this blog. It is also my desire to encourage others in their Christian walks and lives, and to hopefully let the Lord bless as many as He can through what the He lays on my heart that I might share with all of you. I spend my days occasionally babysitting my grandkids while their parents work, reading, blogging, sewing occasionally, gardening, and just enjoying the life that the Lord has soo richly blessed me with.
