I have been visiting around this morning here in blogville and have read many inspirational and meaningful posts on Good Friday. Don't know if I can add anything more to the wisdom and truths I have already read. In the life of Christians this day is of course one of profound sorrow as we remember all Jesus did for us, but praise God we know the end of the story! Resurrection Day is coming and the abundant life it brings with it! His suffering and death brought us life and redemption, and all this while we were yet in our sins. All we need do is accept this free gift He offers us, and we share in everything He promises us. Not only an eternity and everlasting life spent with Him, but an abundant and joy filled life here on earth while we journey towards that mark. Not a "perfect" life here free from hardship and illness and trouble of course, but a joyous life filled with His peace, mercy and grace. My prayer today would be that all of you who don't know Him, would come to know Him, and share in this promise for all eternity. His love for all us all was displayed soo profoundly on that cross, and His blood has the power to wipe all our sins away. He has conquered death! Praise God He has risen indeed!
Wishing you all a wonderful and blessed Resurrection Day! May you enjoy time spent with family and friends, and know the joy of life with Jesus!
I would love to have any of you who might be in the area, or need to find a place to worship this Sunday to join us at our church!

And, a most blessed Easter to you as well.
ReplyDeleteIf I were going to be in your corner this Easter, I'd love to visit your church. Bet I'd find you right off! Hope that somebody will accept all the invitations offered here today.
ReplyDeleteI love Easter. After all, without the Resurrection our faith would be in vain. If I were in your area, I would love to go to worship with you. However, I will be joyfully going to church in my area tomorrow. Happy Easter Deb!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Debbie
