QUICK, FUN LITTLE POST...

Well, I have spent a totally relaxing afternoon and I am not going to lie, it felt GREAT, lol  But I did have to get up early and scurry around as my wonderful cleaning woman was coming today, and I had to have beds stripped and everything all put away ~ all my wrapping paper mess etc ~ and still be out the door by 8 as my oldest son's youngest boy Cody was having a little Christmas program today at his school especially for grandparents.  He did sooo well.  He has done very well in his little class and his talking has improved by leaps and bounds.  I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  Here is a couple of pics of the day.

HE WAS SOO CUTE ON THE DAY!
ALL SMILES WHEN HE SAW GRANDMA

NICE AND COMFY IN MY CHAIR
I did a little bit of shopping afterwards and finished up with everything!  YAY!  Honestly shopping wasn't too bad this year.  Most of what I didn't make I bought online, and everything showed up just as it should have.  I got home to a buffed house and decided to put my feet up for a bit.  Tomorrow it is suppose to rain which is nice since I think I will do a little baking.  Not a lot, but a little, haha.  I also need to finish up a little wrapping.  I don't want to do a lot as I need this day to relax a bit as the following day is the day we are taking my youngest son's 3 kids for the week-end, and we have lots of Christmas activities planned, and Melody and Luke will arrive as well.  After church on Sun and after we have returned the other 3 to their parents, lol, Melody and I and Luke are going to help my niece Jessica register for her baby shower which Melody is throwing for her.  Actually, I am not really going to do much in the way of helping out with needed baby items, as I am really along to play with Luke while the girls are busy doing that.  I am looking forward to everything.

My heart is still a little heavy over my daughter's friends loss of her baby.  It certainly puts just everything into perspective.  This young woman remains strong and inspirational in her handling of this tragedy.  I think the doors of that church will be bursting at the seams at that service Friday night.
My prayers have not ceased for all of them.

I also wanted to share a couple of quick pictures of my youngest son's children.  They came out REALLY good, and needless to say are my Christmas present.  I couldn't be more pleased.  Hope you are all doing well, and enjoying this blessed and holy season.  LOVE, Debbie

THE BOYS, JD AND VINCENT

THE 4 OF THEM TOGETHER....KIND OF HARD TO DO, LOL, BUT I THINK THIS IS PRETTY GOOD!

Praying again for your friend. Praying that she'll continue to know that amazing peace that passes all understanding.

You sure have been getting things done! You're my inspiration. I'm getting up early and going to do my last little bit of shopping.

  2. Shopping is done for me, too...what a relief! I did about 95% of my shopping online and I think it's the only way to go. That is funny that your and my sofas look exactly alike...I know you'd mentioned that before. Absolutely adorable grandkids...you are one BLESSED woman!

  9. We are all ready here too and won't have Christmas until Friday when our daughter and Clancy arrive. But, doesn't matter as long as we're all together.

Cute, cute grandchildren! Wishing you the merriest of Christmases.
