EXCITEMENT

Well, I am excited about a few things right now so I decided to make a blog about them. First, I am excited that the first women's Bible study group will meet at my house this Friday morning at 10. This is something I have been thinking and praying about for a while now, and I am really hoping it will be something that everyone involved will get what they personally need out of. I really wish EVERY woman in our family could be involved, but I realize of course that it can't be done. Might be quite the drive for Crystal and Mel. haha And of course I realize that others work, live to far or have other obligations. But know that you are ALWAYS welcome and can jump on any time you would like. We will just see where the Lord takes us on this. And if at any time you have a prayer request that you would like the group to pray about, simply send it in a post, or just call someone in the group to let them know. Second, I am excited because I "think" Diane's success and encouragement and enthusiasm have motivated to get serious about my dieting again. I ask in advance for every one's prayers on this, as it is sooo difficult for me. And thirdly I am excited (as I mentioned in my main page blog) that my Melly is coming in a week. This has been soooo much harder than I ever thought it would be. It feels like forever since I have seen her, even though it is has only been a little over two months. I know Rhonda can relate, and I know the rest of you can only imagine your daughters living sooo far away....I just flat out miss her sooo much. OK, guess that is it for now....I'm on my way to take Evan for orthodontist appointment and see all my grand kids at Joe's house....yeah!!!

  1. I'm excited too. I wish it was a longer trip. And I wish I could go to the bible study, sounds fun. Mike and I have decided to get a room at the Hyatt in huntington for my bday in July... long time away I know but I thought you and dad should get a room too and we can go to dinner one night. Maybe Dukes or Rusty Pelican or something.

  3. I, too, am very excited about the Bible Study. And Deb, I do know the feel of my daughter being away and I empathize with you. I am truly happy for you that Mel will be here next week! I have a really good feel about the diet and it will be so good if we are doing it together!

  4. Oh how I wish I could be on the bible study. That sounds so go. Let me know what study you decide to do. I do have a few prayer request if you dont mind. First of all for all of our husbands, that they will continue to have a job to go to. Second for me, I just found out that I do have rhumetiod ( Im sure I spelled that wrong) arthiritis. I fiqured I did but having it confirmed makes it worse. My request is just that it progresses very very slowly. I just remember my grandmothers hands being very crippled. I too will pray for all of you that you have a wonderful morning of fellowship. Love ya all and miss ya.

  5. Rhonda, I soooo wish you could come too...you will be missed for sure. It'so funny that you should mention praying for the husbands because we specifically did and for just what you talked about. I'm sorry to hear about your arthiritis. I probably have it going myself as my knees hurt so much of the time. But having it confirmed would make it seem worse I am very sure. I was about to write a post about our Bible study which was why I came on my page in the first place. So I guess I will put the rest on there. Love you
