This will be a quick post as I just want to let everyone know who have been praying for my son and his car situation just what an awesome God we serve and how He answered this prayer. I just knew that He would handle this, but it was beyond even my wildest hopes. It was a REALLY long story about this car which would take way too long to go into right now and I am not sure I would even explain it correctly anyway. But what the bottom line is due to some mistakes that this dealership made, they are going to absorb the majority of the cost of the expense of the repair. Meaning it will only be 200 dollars to my son. It was to originally be 2200 dollars! How good is God? I am soo relieved and happy for this answered prayer. I thank every one of you who prayed about this, and let you know just how wonderfully God answers prayers.

Also, I wanted to let you know that while I am feeling a twinge better (and I do mean a twinge, haha) on doing another chest x-ray yesterday, it was decided that I do indeed have pneumonia. They have changed my antibiotic and assured me I will be just fine, but I would appreciate your prayers once again that the healing would be total and quickly. I am concerned that the stronger antibiotic will bother my stomach, as this has always been somewhat of a problem in the past. My daughter Melody is due for a week’s visit on the 20 of March and I want to be TOTALLY healthy while she is here. If you remember, when she was here in Dec. I was sick with a stomach flu and it really took away from that visit. We have soo many things planned. I can't tell you how much I have missed her and how excited I am. The Lord has been doing soo much to help me cope with my anxiety and I am very grateful for that. I appreciate all of your prayers soo much. I have felt them all. God's blessings to you all.

  1. Praise the Lord for answered prayer on behalf of your son! I love hearing reports like this; God is so good!
I know what you mean about antibiotics! When I broke a rib back in January, I was on three medications for it and they all upset my stomach. I was really miserable for the two weeks I was on them and I was so glad when I finished them. Having said all that, I will pray for you. It would be nice to be able to enjoy your visit with Melody. Hope you have a wonderful week.

  2. Oh Debbie, what great news! All the way around, on all accounts. So happy for your son, and also to hear that you are now on the right meds to get you in tip top shape to share your week with your daughter.

  3. So happy to hear the praise! How wonderful for your son. And so sorry to hear that it is, indeed, pneumonia. I have been praying and certainly will include your desire to be 100 percent when Mel arrives. God knows your heart desires - that's for sure. Take it easy...and be patient with yourself until then!

    Hugs my friend,

  4. Pnemonia can certainly slow you down. I am glad you were diagnosed and on antibiotics. Will be praying for you Deb.

    Love you,

  5. I hope you feel better. I'll be praying for you! I remember when you were sick the last time your daughter came for a visit! Let's hope this medication is a good one and doesn't upset your stomach.

I love your previous post on anxiety. I've been struggling so much with it lately. Thank you for the scriptures you posted also.

  6. Oh Debbie, that is great news for your son!

And I will say a prayer and hope that you are feeling 100% by the time Melanie visits you! How awful that you were sick with stomach flu last visit, surely you won't be sick again!!

Rest up. Drink LOTS of water. And take your meds. And flush that crapola out of your system!

  7. How great is our God!!! I praise the Lord for moving in your son's favor, and now I pray also for your complete, total recovery and complete enjoyment of your time with your daughter. May He bless Your time together with His special grace and abiding presence.

  8. Ah Debbie!! That is awesome news! So glad to hear that. The power of prayer really is so amazing!

I will be praying for you Debbie. I know how much you look forward to that time you get to spend with your daughter. And, I just want you to be healthy again. There is nothing as annoying as a nagging cold/cough/sickness that just won't go away. Get those antibiotics in you and think positive. Think healthy, and you will get healthy. Our minds work wonders too...

I'll also be praying that those antibiotics don't upset your stomach. You poor thing Debbie! If I lived closer, I'd bring you over some soup and hot tea!

  9. I hope all is well soon and that you enjoy your daughter's visit.

  10. I am surprised how much God uses blogging. There are so many times I have been on and read someones post and it hits me deep. I too am thankful for it. I hope you are feeling a bit better now. :)

  11. Rejoicing with you for answered prayer re your sons's car!!

Glad you're feeling a twinge better and praying that you are 100% when Melody arrives!!

    He is Faithful!!

    Love, Hugs and Sweet Blessings!

  12. Praising the Lord for His provision!

I am so glad that you would take the time to comment on my thoughts and feelings, it is such a blessing to me!
