I just wanted to write a quick update and ask for prayer. I am not sure what is wrong. I am sooo weak and exhausted that getting around is WAY harder than I think it should be. I went to my regular doc today who checked me out and said that he thinks that I am probably anemic from blood loss and sent me for a blood test. I should know later this afternoon. Meanwhile however I am already taking iron as I had told the surgeon how I was feeling last week when I saw him. It seems to me as if I should be feeling a little better by now, and not like this. I do see the surgeon tomorrow as well and he "might" remove the drains (how I HATE them) and take out the stapples. I am DREADING all of this as well and would appreciate your prayers getting through it. I am also running a very slight temp. My doc said the incisions are not infected at all and look great, so I am not quite sure what that is. Maybe I have a virus or something as well. All I know is I am sooo weak and tired and soo very wanting to be done with all of this. My emotions are still kind of all over the place, but I remain thankful that everything turned out as it did, and that I have had the help of soo much family. I am watching the boxes pile up around me and it is a very strange feeling let me tell you. I did get to see some of the developments at the new house and it is coming along very nicely. I would be downright excited if I could work up the energy, haha....
Thank you all sooo much for your prayers....I hope to be feeling better soon. I have gotten around to some of you, but I don't last very long on here. Love you all.....
Praying for you Debbie..

I am praying for you Debbie!
ReplyDeleteDeb, you've been through so much lately. It could be all of the stress and uncertainty. That can make anyone tired. But I'm praying for you my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs,
Debbie
I will be keeping you in prayer too Debbie. I have been under anesthesia once before and I will never forget how tired and low energy I was for soooo long afterward. I kept thinking what is wrong with me, why aren't I better yet? Your body has been through a lot and it is going to need lots of time to heal and rebuild your normal strength. I am sure it is nothing more than that Debbie, but I am praying for you to feel better very very soon.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, praying for your recovery. your questions. your move. boy, do i understand so much of what you're going through. praising God your nodes are clear and you won't need further treatment. sending love your way tonight.

I'm praying dear friend...I'm praying. You are in my heart sweet Deb and deeply in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI am praying for this to pass ever so quickly and that the Lord restores your body in all ways...that He heals you in all ways...that He envelops you around and within with a sweet everlasting peace and that He renews your energy this night as you sleep...that he guides the doctors that you will be meeting with in the next few days and gives them much wisdom and you will know that it is the Lord speaking from their lips.
Yes Lord, bring your divine intervention ever more strongly into this precious woman of God. Carry her Lord right now and cover her with your peace, grace, tender mercies and so much more.
Thank you Father. Thank you Jesus for the healing and restoration that is occurring this very night. All praise, honor and glory are yours Almighty Father forever and ever more.
Love you so much my friend,
Alleluiabelle
Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you are not feeling well. I'm sure they will get to the bottom of it. Are you resting enough? I couldn't believe how tired I was from my appendectomy, and it only took an hour, and is only a 3 inch incision.
Be sure to get good rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water. Are you sleeping well? So important, too.
Love you dear friend, and am bringing you to the throne of Grace. Wish I could come take care of you!
Big hugs,
Becky

Praying for you sweet Debbie, and knowing how hard it is to recoop after a surgery, you know my Thyroid got burned out during a surgery I had, and I have had to stay on Synthyroid ever since, it could be your problem, inactive Thyroid makes you very tired all the time, you get up after a good nights sleep and wow you fall asleep again, yep it can do it, have them check that too. Hugs and blessings, Barbara
