LUKE JEFFREY'S QUILT

This will be quick as we are getting ready to leave to go and get our nails done, and then a couple of quick errands for the coming party. Mom is doing pretty good.  Maybe a little more tired than usual, but MUCH better.  Thank you for your prayers!  Finished the quilt yesterday.  Soo much fun this time.  It was quick and soo easy ~ two of my favorite things when it comes to projects like this.  I ended up being REALLY pleased with the way it came out with the satin backing and all, and trust me I really had my doubts while I was sewing it.  It was raveling sooo badly.  But it ended up just fine! OH! and I did finished up the pillow sham for Sam's big boy bed, but I didn't snap a picture of that (I am sure you are crying into a pillow, haha)  Now I am really excited to get started on the one for Larissa and James!  Hope you all have a good day!

MADE THE "FLUFF" A LITTLE BIGGER THIS TIME!

LOVE THE SATIN BACKING!

MY DESIGN!  ; )

JUST ANOTHER VIEW!

  2. Wonderful job my friend. I know that flannel is very hard to work with and Satin-oh boy. I know he will cherish it and it will bring lots of comfort.
Hope you have fun with your nails.

  4. Just when you get it down to a science, you'll run out of grands to make one for. I really like that backing, too. Way cool.

  7. I think the quilt turned out just wonderfully and can see why you are so happy with it. I love the satin backing too. Satin just "blankies" well, if you know what I mean.

I'm glad your mom is doing better today and hope the nails look fab-u-lous! Mine are currently a hot mess.
