OUR FAMILY PICTURES

Have you ever had one of those days where you had SOO much to do but instead you found yourself
doing EVERYTHING but what you had planned?  Or how about one of those weeks where there is soo much to do and yet you find yourself crawling along not accomplishing alot?  Well, that's where I am at for sure.  On the one hand my tree skirt was finished a day early so I hurried over to pick it up so I could finish up all I had to do on it yet.  However, BEFORE I could go get it I had to pick up the rental car from my hubby's office.  He had gotten it for me this morning but he needed some things he had forgotten in his so I went on over there to make the exchange.  It WAS on my way, but took more time then I intended.  Then, when I got back Melody had texted me that the pics. were back and so OF COURSE I had to go online and begin looking through those.  Would you believe it took me several hours to select, JUST TWO of them for our Christmas card and get them onto a card somehow with what I wanted etc.  Why in the world that took soo long can only be because I am such a fumbler when it comes to those kind of things.  Here is the bottom line on our family pictures.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ones of my kids and their families.  Soo many good pics it will be hard to chose.  However, the ones of me and hubby? Yeah, not so much.  Don't like my outfit, don't like our pose, don't like the background, just DON'T LIKE.  And the grandkid pictures with hubby and I is darling of them.  But me perched out front and center I am just "almost" hating.  They all look sooo adorable, and hubby looks good, but NOT ME...And then the big family shot?  Again, same pose for me.  However on this one I was able to crop it around and eliminate most of my horrid body and so it is OK now.  I don't like to complain.  And honestly other then morphing into a new body there is really not much to be done.  Sooo let me show you the best of the pics....this way they will be in my book too.

I will treasure these pictures I know, so should I just NOT say the things I wish were different?  Yes, I think so.  I don't know if I can.  Maybe by tomorrow I will not want to, lol.

Meanwhile I have soooo much to finish before our Christmas party here on Sat that I am going to have to be on a rocket to get them done.  Hope you are all having good weeks.  Blessings to you all! Debbie

  2. Wonderful photos! Such a shame that you were not pleased with the o es of you and hubby. I thought they were beautiful! Maybe the photographer can do something to make you like the ones of you in chair better? The one of little Sam going potty is priceless!!!

  7. What lovely photos Debbie, You have such a beautiful family! I love seeing which kids belonged to what parents.
I never knew your oldest son had five. So getting to see them this way was awesome. I love them all and I would have such a hard time picking a favorite.
I am so glad you shared them. My whole December has been just the way you described. I still have never got what I wanted to do and ended up doing something totally different. Have a good rest of the week.

  8. Well, we are all our own worse critic for sure! I wasn't all that pleased with how I looked in our group family photo for our Christmas card, but it was so good of everyone else and I'm sure not all that bad of me except through my eyes. :o) These truly were great photos and what a lovely family. I can't imagine all of you together at one time. Loud and fun I bet!!!Christmas blessings!
