Well it December the 22nd and we are almost there aren't we? lol We had a good week-end full of fun with some of our grandkids and I hope you all had a good one too. Sat. morning we got up and after breakfast I wrapped a few presents and got things ready and we were off to pick up my youngest son's 3 oldest kids for some holiday time with grandpa and grandma. We met our son half way (or I guess his was a little over half...just saying, lol) so that neither one of us had to make the entire long drive, and then we went and saw the movie Annie. I have always loved that movie and the music from it and hoped that the kids would enjoy it too. Here was the consensus from that. Capri the 10 year old loved it. JD the 8 year old boy found parts of it funny but it had W A Y too much singing grandma, lol. Donatella the 5 year old also enjoyed it but honestly didn't follow the story line totally and was a little tired of sitting still for it by the end. It was kind of a long movie. Grandma? She loved it, lol. After the movies we didn't have much time before Capri and I got ourselves spruced up a bit to meet my sister and her 11 year old son for dinner and the Nutcracker. I had originally planned on bringing the 5 year old as well but she wasn't sure she wanted to do that and after our movie experience I thought it might be smarter to let her chose. Capri and I had a WONDERFUL time though! When you have as many grandkids as I do it is hard to get it in any one on one time with them (which is always the best in my opinion!) and I was glad to take advantage of this time with Capri. She was just a total delight on the night. We both enjoyed dinner (and our own delicious Pazzoki's for dessert) and the ballet was just soo fun. I bought her a ballerina Christmas ornament as a souvenir but forgot to snap a picture of it. Take my word for it though, it was BEAUTIFUL! JD and grandpa enjoyed their evening watching the Charger football game while playing their own games of football on grandpa's i-pad. Tella did get in a couple games of Candyland with grandpa before she dozed off watching a Christmas movie at not much past 7:30...she was a tired little girl apparently. Yesterday morning was a bit of challenge getting the 3 little ones fed, packed back up and ready for church and on the road by 8:30, but we made it. Church was wonderful as always and hubby and I left soon after service. We came home after that and spent the rest of the day on the couch watching Christmas movies. I am soo far behind on those this year, lol. I do really enjoy them for some reason.

Today I need to just pick up just a quick couple of things for the dinners we are going to, and wrap a couple of presents. For the most part it will be a slow and easy couple of days before Christmas. I hope you are all enjoying your celebrations and times. I hope to get up one more post before Christmas. Enjoy your days! Blessings to all, Debbie
