GOOD AND EXCITING NEWS!

Well, I have a busy last couple of days.  I am going to try and keep this brief!  (think I can? lol) Mom has transferred to a convalescent hospital for probably a week of so.  She is soo much better.  Physically she is doing great, but she is just stressed.  I am praying once she gets around better on her own, she will be happier.   I thank you all for your prayers.. I have truly felt them all!

Looks like Melody and Mike and Sam WILL be here on Friday.  Everybody is doing great.  AND!!  Melody found out today that she is having another precious boy!  I will admit I was surprised.  I thought for sure it was a girl.  But while Melody is sure hoping she will get one of those some day, she is thrilled to death for Sam to be getting a little brother.  Two little boys so close in age will have many advantages, and Mike is just giddy.  Melody has been soo sick in the last month she has only gained 1 pound in her whole pregnancy so far.  She is a tiny girl to begin with so the doc told he is not concerned but try and eat up for a while.  In my wildest dreams I cannot imagine a doc EVER saying that to me, especially when I was pregnant.  All I ever heard was, "Mrs. Class, you really need to do a better job with watching what you eat!"

I have done sooo much walking in the last week what with mom and all I am sooo feeling it in my knees.  I am going to stay home tomorrow, and truthfully I am looking forward to a day of rest before my girl comes.

This verse just sums up soo well what I wish for all of you for 2013 that I decided I just had to share it with you!

Num. 6:24-26  The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon you, And be gracious to you; and give you peace.

Hope the New Year is off to a good start for you all!

Debbie

  2. So happy to know that your mom is doing better and feeling more like herself. With her injuries, they probably could not help her much with the anxiety, which is a shame. And what good news about a little brother for Sam. Exciting times in your family! Have a wonderful get-together!

I hope you get to rest your poor knees for a bit.

  5. This is my first stop this morning, and I'm so glad to read GOOD news all the way around. (Well, except that your legs are taking a beating.) I agree with your Mel that two boys so close in age will be wonderful playmates. My sister and I are 17 months apart, and we originated the term "best friends forever". I'm glad your mom is doing better, and I hope you take advantage of her time away to stay off your legs as much as possible.

Happy New Year to you! I hope 2013 is a good one.

  8. Thank the Lord for this good news, Debbie, I will continue to pray especially about the stress. Mel is going to love having two boys close in age, our first two were boys and they were close in age too, and to this day they remain close friends! Tell her it took us 4 tries before we got our little girl. lol
Enjoy this special time and yes, get some much needed rest today.
Thank you for the blessing, I receive it in Jesus name
    Hugs,
    Sue
